Death Valley Landscape Adventure & Star Trails Workshop! November 1-3, 2019

Join us November 1 – 3, 2019 for an IMAGE-Adventure including a 1-day workshop in one of the most iconic desert landscapes in the American West!  Because Death Valley is one of the darkest night sky sites, included in this 3-day adventure is a 1-day workshop where we instruct night photography techniques. And of course we will be taking in the sites and photographing the amazing sand dunes, vast salt flats, beautiful rock formations and rugged canyons that the area has to offer!

The cost for this 3 day-2-night adventure, including lodging, is $650 per person (single occupancy) or $550 per person (double occupancy and booked at the same time). Price includes the Night Sky Workshop, lodging at the Stovepipe Wells Hotel which will serve as the hub for our excursions, guiding and photographic assistance throughout the 3 days. Should you decide to provide your own lodging or camp, the cost without lodging is $350 per person. Not included are transportation and meals.

Deadline to sign up October 16, 2019!

Cancellations made within 4 weeks prior to arrival date, we will retain 10% of the reservation cost and 2 weeks or less of adventure date, we will retain 50%. 

Only six (6) participants maximum available! Minimum of four (4) participants.

October 10-13, 2019 – Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta!

You will become a kid again as you photograph one of the largest Hot Air Balloon festivals in the world!

There is nothing like it anywhere! “Amazing” is the only word to describe this experience.

We will also range farther afield to visit magnificent landscapes, ancient native American ruins and the Very Large Array radio telescope.

July 18-23, 2019 – Whales, Grizzlies and Glaciers!

It’s a Whale of an Adventure to Juneau, Alaska!

We charter a boat with a guide to witness whales feeding as well as to photograph other magnificent wildlife in the area. We will also have an opportunity to photograph Grizzlies and visit nearby glaciers. Our lodging will be in Juneau.

May 17-18-19, 2019 – Northern California Waterfalls

Beautiful Mount Shasta and an abundance of waterfalls are our subjects on this Northern California Adventure.

In addition to photographing one of the most singular and dramatic mountains in the state, we will have plenty of opportunities to experiment with different techniques for photographing moving water.
